The Grace Christian School curriculum has been carefully curated to fulfill our vision to prepare children, through a foundation of faith and academic excellence, to live God-honoring lives.

Curriculum materials are selected for their alignment with the educational objectives of GCS to promote spiritual and moral growth, personal and social development, academic and creative advancement, and an affirmative stance towards home and family. The Biblical worldview is central to every subject so that students are equipped to integrate their spiritual and academic values beyond their years at GCS.

Bob Jones University Press is committed to producing curriculum materials for a Christian education setting. Blending a Biblical worldview and academic strength, these materials support our emphasis on weaving God’s truth through each school subject. GCS implements BJU Press materials in:

  • Math

  • English Language Arts (ELA)

  • Reading

  • History

Purposeful Design Publications is a division of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Purposeful Design textbooks are created to integrate a Biblical worldview with rigorous academic standards to provide a solid foundation. GCS applies Purposeful Design curriculum in:

  • Bible

  • Science

  • Spelling

  • Time-tested, custom-developed resources for Phonics instruction and Reading comprehension

Weekly Chapel at Grace Christian School

Chapel is a weekly gathering to engage in worship and teaching that reinforces the application of our Biblical worldview. Each grade leads one Chapel per year, and teachers also participate in leading select sessions. The annual schedule is filled with various guest speakers, including our Penn Valley Church pastors, pastors from local churches, missionaries, ministry leaders, and members of our community.

Specials Offered at GCS

GCS students participate in a weekly schedule of enriching Specials classes to further promote our aims and objectives. Specials include:
