Each Wednesday morning our students gather together to worship and learn from God's word.
Today, Mrs. Hewett read to the children about missionary Cameron Townsend. Mr. Townsend's ministry started when he moved to Guatemala in 1917. He quickly realized that many of the native villagers could not read or understand the Spanish Bibles that were available. This began his quest to translate the Bible into the native languages of the Central American people. in 1942 he founded the Wycliff Bible Translators who have help to translate all or part of the Bible into 2,800 different languages and dialects.
