WELCOME! We have put together a resource list of information and contacts for your convenience. Famillies and individual parents are the pulse behind many of the school’s activities, fund raisers and day-to-day functions. We invite you to jump in and join in on the fun and success of our children’s futures. VOLUNTEERING: Each family is strongly encouraged to get involved in a Grace ministry. A few examples of opportunities where parental assistance is needed: in the playground, the classrooms, hot lunch fridays and musical productions. Please contact the office to see where there is a need to match your schedule. PTF: The Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) of Grace is an active part of our ministry here. Monthly meetings are led by elected parents of the school. The PTF sponsors an annual auction and various support programs throughout the year. BOX TOPS!: This program is an opportunity to raise extra money for our school. Everyone can participate! All you need to do is clip the “Box Tops for Education” logos off of the General Mills and Betty Crocker products you have in your home and send them to school. We hold contests throughout the year to encourage you to keep clipping! GIFT CERTIFICATES: Parents can purchase supermarket gift certificates for the following stores in our area: Landis Supermarket, Clemens, Acme, Giant and Redners. Two and a half percent of the cost of the certificate can be applied toward tuition and the remaining two and a half percent is applied to the financial aid fund. ANNUAL AUCTION: This is a super fun day when families, friends and the community come together to support the school and raise money to benefit the students of GCS. We have food, fun, and lots of fellowship. A live and silent auction take place that day as well as games and activities for the kids. We would love to have as much help as possible. We need helpers before and during the Auction. Please contact the school if you are able to help (215-723-5896). Even a 1 hour shift the day of the Auction would be greatly appreciated. So, invite your family and friends to come out on Sat., March 24th, 2007. |
